COVID-19 GUIDANCE FOLLOWING 19 JULY 2021


 


Following the government’s announcement to reduce Covid-19 restrictions as of 19th July 2021, it will still be mandatory to wear a face mask and maintain social distancing within Lime Tree Surgery. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff and our patients, some of whom are extremely vulnerable.


  


This guidance will be subject to regular review, with the safety of staff and patients paramount to this decision. 


 


We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we appreciate your understanding during this time.

Test Results

test_results8Please telephone on  01159791281 after 2pm if you want to know if your test results are back from the Lab, or after 10am on Thursdays only.

The minimum time interval before telephoning for results is:

  • Blood tests 7 working days
  • X-rays 14 working days
  • Cervical smear test 6 weeks

Whilst receptionists are unable to advise you of your test results, they can let you know if the results have arrived at the surgery. Our reception staff are not qualified to comment on results therefore it is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
